GM Student Bonus
Still in school? Just graduated? General Motors of Canada wants to help get
you in the driver's seat of your own new vehicle with the GM Student
Bonus.
How Does it Work?
Eligible
students will receive an incentive of $500 to $750 tax inclusive (model
dependant), towards the purchase / lease / finance on eligible new GMCL vehicles.

Who is Eligible?
The GM Student Bonus is open to eligible individuals who are:
§
All students
currently enrolled in, or recent graduates from:
i) High
School
o
Must be a full-time student, or
o
Must have graduated from a full-time high school program within the last
four (4) years. Eligibility period will be measured from the date shown on the
graduate’s diploma.
ii) Accredited
College
o
Part-time and full time students (working
towards a diploma for a program consisting of the equivalent of two years or 16
months of in class study) or
o
Must have graduated from an accredited part-time or full-time College
within the last four (4) years. Eligibility period will be measured from the
date shown on the graduate’s diploma
iii) Accredited
University or CEGEP
Part-time
and full time students (working towards
a diploma for a program consisting of the equivalent of two years or 16 months
of in class study) or
o
Must have graduated from an accredited part-time or full-time University,
CEGEP, within the last four (4) years. Eligibility period will be measured from
the date shown on the graduate’s diploma.
iv) Adult and Vocational Centres
o
Part-time and full time students (working
towards a diploma for a program consisting of the equivalent of two years or 16
months of in class study) or
Must
have graduated from an accredited part-time or full-time Adult and Vocational program
within the last four (4) years. Eligibility period will be measured from the date
shown on the graduate’s diploma.

Individuals who reside in Canada and meet the eligibility
requirements above from an accredited institution in the United States may be
eligible providing they meet requirements of section 4b.
§
The Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) in
which students spend a portion of the term working in GM dealerships is
eligible.
§
Graduated Apprenticeship programs are eligible.
§
For CEGEP in Quebec, the DEC technical program is
eligible.
Certificates Programs
consisting of a 1 year or less are not eligible.

Offer Guidelines
* On approved GMAC credit only. GMCL will pay first two months'
GMAC lease payments for 24 to 60 month leases only, paid up to a maximum monthly
lease payment of $600 per month (tax inclusive). . Alternatively GMCL will pay
first two months' GMAC finance payments for finance terms of up to 72 months
only, paid up to a maximum monthly finance payment of $600 per month (tax
inclusive). Offer applicable to equal monthly payment SmartLease leases or
finance agreements. License, insurance, registration, PPSA/moveable property,
administration fees and environmental taxes not included and may be payable upon
signing. Vehicle must be registered solely in name of applicant (but contracts
may be co-signed) for a minimum of six months and 12,000 kilometres. Limit of
one eligible lease or finance agreement per eligible individual in his/her
lifetime and not available to recipients of any previous GM student/graduate
offer. This offer replaces certain prior GM/Saturn/Saab offers, which offers as
well as certain other current GM/Saturn/Saab/ offers may not be able to be
combined with this offer. Void where prohibited by law. GMCL may modify, extend
or terminate this offer in whole or in part at any time without notice.
Eligibility Requirements
ºApplicant must be a legal resident of Canada of age of majority
in their province of residence at time of application with a valid Canadian
Driver's License. Individuals must meet the eligibility and other offer
requirements during the offer period. Limited to institutions in or outside
Canada as currently approved or recognized by GMCL. See your dealer/retailer for
eligible institutions. As part of the transaction Dealer/Retailer may request
eligibility documentation and will contact GM to verify eligibility.
Determination of full-time status at discretion of GMCL as determined through
supporting documentation.
**Note: For graduates the 4-year eligibility period will be
measured from the date shown on the graduate's diploma.
Note: Students are eligible only once in his/her lifetime.
